If you cannot find answers to your questions in this trouble-shooting guide, contact the retailer that you purchased the headset from.  
   
1. I cannot turn the headset on.

Possibility one: out of battery. Solution - recharged as instructed.

Possibility two: headset accidentally went into storage mode, *To prevent your headset getting into the storage mode - when you perform pairing using the VOL- of your headset, release the button when the red and blue LED flashes (do not press for too long). Solution - recharge for a couple of seconds and then use it.

2. Multi pairing: How does it work?

Multi pairing only works with handsets which are both in headset profile. Multi pairing cannot be preformed for those using Hands-free profile only. Please refer to the ”Compatible phone” in this web site to find out which profile(s) your handset supports.

3. My handset has both Headset and Hands-free profile, how can I force my headset to pair under the Headset profile?

If your handset supports both Headset and Hands-free profile, Handsfree profile is used by default when pairing. Please follow the below steps to force your headset to pair under the Headset profile:

  1. Make sure your headset is off.
  2. Switch on your phone and select the Bluetooth discover mode on the mobile phone (consult your mobile phone user guide).
  3. Press and hold the Vol- button for about 15 seconds until the indicator light flashes red and blue alternatively, then release the button.
  4. Once the Bluetooth mobile device detects the headset, a message is displayed containing the name of the headset “O2 karuna”.
  5. Follow the phone instructions to accept the pairing. The PIN code (or passkey) is 0000.
  6. When the pairing is completed, the indicator light will switch to blue and flashes slowly. Your headset is now ready to use.

4. I have a problem using the headset with Sony Ericsson T61X.

Please be sure to have the most recent firmware upgrade from your retailer. This upgrade was released beginning of January,2004. Otherwise you will face problem during pairing and a poor sound quality during a call.

Please pair your headset and mobile phone again using the Headset profile.
Instruction: Make sure your headset is off then press the Vol- button for around 15 seconds until you can see the red and blue LED flashes, follow the normal procedure for the pairing process.

6. Battery replacement

In case of having problems on the battery of the headset, please contact your retailer/ dealer for assistance. Do not try to replace the battery yourself as this will lead to suspension of warranty.
